আল-লাহাব
সূরা ১১১
تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
উল্লেখ: অবৈধ আক্রমণকারী মানুষকে লাহাবের হাত পরার আশরীর করুণা কর।
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.

Tabbat yadaa abee lahabin watabb.
Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he!

Ma aghna ‘anhu maaluhu wa ma kasab.
No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains!

sayasla naran thaata lahab.
Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame!

Wa mra’atuhu hammalata alhatab.
His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood – As fuel!-
5
Fee jeediha hablum min masad.
A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck!
